Workshopping Personal Finances

Financial Workshop Gauteng (FWS) hopes to cultivate a healthy mentality towards money matters, by helping people workshop their personal finances. To do so with integrity, FWS focuses on offering total independent financial advice and education, that is ethical and adds value to you the client.

A selling feature of FWS, is that FWS is totally independent from any one assurance company. This means we do not follow a traditional sale focused business model, but rather a service and advice focused business model. Should the independent advice lead to the interest of a certain assurance product, FWS can on request from the client seek to provide that financial product to meet the need.

FWS is registered with The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), FSP License number 28353. The FSCA is the market conduct regulator of financial institutions, that provide financial products and financial services.

Financial Intelligence

Financial Workshop Gauteng (FWS) helps client’s address financial intelligence, which in turn looks at one’s attitude, belief and behaviour towards money matters. Understanding one’s financial behaviour, has a direct impact on one’s ability to achieve financial wellbeing. This is about how one makes decisions that are most appropriate, in setting and reaching realistic financial goals and objectives, while providing for and protecting one’s wealth.

Experience has shown, that life is unpredictable and most people’s financial affairs are not in order and up to date. FWS offers the solution and service of reviewing one’s long-term assurance portfolio and investments and compiling what we term a personalised “Life File”. This has proven to be intelligent and invaluable to the family, when you are no longer around in person.

Corporate Financial Workshops

Knowledge and lessons learnt through experience dealing with individual clients, is brought into Stewart’s corporate financial workshops.

One such workshop is  entitled “Eliminate Debt, Build True Wealth”. This workshop spells out the raw truth about why we prevent ourselves from making good financial decisions and creating true wealth. Stewart also teaches that we have a responsibility to be good stewards of our financial resources and to empower others to do the same.

Employers wanting to equip employees, can have Financial Workshop Gauteng (FWS) customize a financial workshop to suit the specific needs of a particular organization. FWS workshops are priced per workshop event and not by attendees, so you always get value for money. On request, Stewart is willing to have a follow up meeting with employees once they have attended the workshop, at no additional cost to the employer.

Fee-Based

Financial Workshop Gauteng (FWS) moved over to a fee-based service practice in 2007. This translates to transparent remuneration for advice and service as a fee for services practice, rather than the traditional commission payment structure. This is done with an upfront discussion and quote, on the expected hours of work to be done and for service and advice to be given, which is agreed by both parties and documented in our unique “Client Instruction & Advice Record”.

When clients have asked for assurance products to meet their needs that comes with commission, FWS is able to offset the fee for service with the commission. This approach is personalised, unique and can end up saving you the client money over the long term.

Our Ethos
